The Rich Jewish Heritage of Prague.
Following breakfast at the hotel, spend this morning in the Jewish Quarter learning about
Prague’s Jewish community. Visit the various medieval synagogues that now make up the
Jewish Museum: Althneushul, Maisel, Pinkas, Klaus, and Spanish synagogues.
Walk through Prague’s unique Old Jewish Cemetery.
This afternoon is at your leisure perhaps enjoy shopping in the Old Town Square

Wednesday, 14 April
Terezin
After breakfast at the hotel travel to Terezin to visit what the Nazis called the “Model
Concentration Camp”. Visit the recently discovered Holocaust era secret synagogue of the
Danish Jews (if available).

The Czech Jewish Countryside, Vienna
Following breakfast at the hotel, depart Prague and head towards Vienna. On route we will visit
the UNESCO Jewish town; Trebic. The largest Jewish town after Jerusalem.
Moravian Jewish life in Trebic: preserved 15th-16th century synagogues with painted ceilings, other ghetto buildings.
Arrive Vienna and check-in to your hotel.

the Wallenberg Memorial in Buda
In the late afternoon walk on the boardwalk of the Danube River and a visit to a unique food
market

This evening enjoy a relaxing River Danube boat cruise, highlighting Budapest’s most
beautiful monuments, all aglow at night.

The Hungarian Countryside
Following breakfast at the hotel explore the Hungarian countryside and the picturesque towns

Visegrad to enjoy a magnificent view of the Danube Bend and the Borzsony Mountains
